Kids will LOVE it

My oldest daughter LoVeS soup and the letter A. Tonight we combined the two and made a great soup that we all enjoyed. You can add what you want. I just used what I had in my fridge. . 2 cloves of minced garlic . 1 tsp. of olive oil . 32 oz. of chicken broth . 1 large can of crushed tomatoes . 1 small bag of chopped frozen spinach . 1 tsp. dried sage . 1 large handful of fresh basil, chopped . pepper . 1 can of garbanzo beans, drained . 1 can of marinated artichoke hearts, drained and chopped . trader joe's organic alphabet noodles ....heat your soup pot on medium. add oil and then garlic. wait for the "sizzle" and add broth and tomatoes. stir and then add the remaining ingredients except the alphabet noodles. Let simmer for about 30 to 45 mins. Meanwhile I cook the noodles in a different pot. that way i don't have to have them in my soup and the kids have extra plain noodles for another snack. I top the kids soup with noodles and parmesean cheese. You can make this any way you want. I just like to use what I have.
